Emory Anthony, Lewis' attorney, voiced CNN associate that “manslaughter is appropriate when someone acts recklessly or irresponsibly, not when they allow someone else to act in a dangerous manner” (Anthony, 2015). Fox News pointed out that the mother should have known the danger she put on the children when she stepped her foot out clubbing; therefore it is justified for her to charge with manslaughter. The credibility of the story was acceptable because this is an unexpected and controversial story that will have some impact on the boy’s family, the justice system and to everyone that is listening to this story.
