How to prevent biting?
• Biting can be unintentional
• Don’t call it misbehaving,
• Punishing the child for misbehaving can to stress for the child
• Making other children easy targets for the “biter”
• Use the “Going Public” approach from the YWCA child care center in Minneapolis

This article helps as as educator and parents to understand the reasons of the toddles bite and some ideas and strategies how to respond appropriate.
