When our class took the color test, I thought that this was just another gimmick to waste time and try to understand more about ourselves. Then Dr. Igo had us look into what our color truly meant and how we should apply our color to communicated with other color groups. Soon I realized the importance of understanding how my color affected those around me, and took a different approach to becoming a well-rounded leader. First off, the color gold impacted the values in my mind immediately. When you look at the front side of the gold card and see the pictures of lists, service to your country, organized money managing, and family bonds I knew that this was my card. Then Slowly as I turned the card over and read what was on the back, I thought I was reading a mirror image of my life. The card talked about my strong bonds of family and tradition, two things I hold near and dear to my heart. Then I would marry my lifelong friend and begin a family that I could be proud of, again checking another goal off my list of becoming president. In between providing for my family and relishing in the hurdles that life throws at us, I would begin my political career. I would start at the state level and then slowly make my way over to Washington D.C. Here I would like to serve as a U.S. Senator employing my superior leadership skills in serving my community back home and abroad.
