The first thing that would happen in that scenario is that URSS wouldn’t have been allies, obviously USA and GMD would make china nationalist. Also, China, Japan, Korea would make an alliance.
In consequence, Soviet Union would try to take manchuria because china in that time was weak for the civil war, if Soviet Union was able to take manchuria they would use it as a base for military plans against china, in summary there would be another war between China and Soviet Union.

In my conclusion we can say that USA as well as URSS allied with China because of the things china could offer, for example, strategic places to war, economic treatments, etc.
The two sides GMD and CCP also needed these allies, they needed support to be able to win the war, that’s why USA supported GMD with aids and guns and URSS supported CCP with economic help aids.
