Ever since I moved to Waco one of the things that I noticed was it has an abundance of restaurants. Cheddars is a rather famous restaurant it has been around since 1979, and has over 130 restaurants’ in 23 states (“Cheddar's Casual Café). When Cheddars came to Waco at the end of January of 2005 it became one of the favorite stops for families and couples to eat out at. As soon as they opened up I remember driving by and seeing people lined up outside to get in to eat. This made me think it must be a popular place to eat with great service to have such a long line waiting to enter. My sisters said that they are a reasonably good restaurant. With all the good thing I have heard about Cheddars, and was also told by friends and family that I should go, I finally decided to go eat there. The food was the main reason we came to Cheddars and we were hoping to get some good food from all the good reviews we were hearing about. Even though we asked the waiter about the food, we also asked our family what they thought before we came. They end up recommending that we try a fish, chicken, and a beef so we could have three different meats. We ended up having the salmon with rice, chicken fried chicken with gravy, and mash potatoes, and also bacon cheeseburger with Cheddars dressing, and fries.
Salmon is one of my favorite fish, and whenever I can get it, and cook it myself I will. But salmon can be one of the hardest fish to get right, because it is such a strong fish. In my opinion the salmon was not that good, but it wasn’t bad either. It was bland and didn’t have any favoring. It came with rice below it and it was also bland.
