He proposed that all things were created at the beginning of time then evolved to meet their needs over time.2 While he was studying invertebrates he noticed common traits or locations with some species.2 This led him to believe that all creatures came from a common ancestor.1 This is one of Charles Darwin’s major achievements over his life time. Charles Darwin has helped the scientific community by journeying around the world and researching small mammals and invertebrates.2 The voyage was 5 years long and took him to places like the Galapagos islands and much of south America.2 One thing he found while on his journey is a horse-like skeleton with a long face similar to an ant-eater.1 Darwin’s journey was very successful and he improved the scientific world with some of his findings.
