Climate change is something that needs to be addressed. Climate change has started to impact our climate weather patterns. To minimize the impacts of climate change, we need to introduce more renewable energy sources, such as solar power, wind farms, and hydro dams. We also need to put restrictions on how much CO2 you can produce. We need to take action to this matter before climate change starts to impact our environment.
#2 What is climate change?
Climate change occurs when the Earth’s average temperature heats up causing the climate to become unbalanced. The temperature increases when certain greenhouse gases are released into the atmosphere which traps heat in. These greenhouse gases consist of CO2, Methane and Nitrous Oxide. This process is called the greenhouse effect. The greenhouse effect is when heat is trapped in and isn’t able to be released easily. Before humans started producing greenhouse gases, nature were creating these gases as well. Even though they were producing the gas, it was at a sustained level so it wouldn’t impact the environmental weather patterns. Climate change isn’t same as the weather as the weather are just short events like rain and strong winds while the climate are long events like summer and winter etc.

Coal is commonly used due to it’s effectiveness to produce power. It’s effective because there are heaps of Coal and it produces a lot of power. However, it also produces carbon dioxide and isn’t renewable. This is one of the largest pollutants that is impacting climate change. A couple more common ways to produce power are oiling and nuclear. This is because they also produce a lot of energy and are decently effective. Yet again, they both produce harmful chemicals and aren’t renewable. After evaluating these ways of producing power, we now understand that the more effective ways to produce power have the most negative
