In the real business world, there are many types of organizational cultures that companies adapt to match with their own strategies and goals. Among all of them, risk-taking culture was found to be most interesting as it seems that fear and performance do not work along with each other so well. It is beneficial for an organization to have all their employees generating innovative and creative ideas at work. If the employees feel their jobs are well secured, workers will be willing to stay committed to their companies and perform better. Therefore, higher level of job security employees receive may result in higher job performance.
A worker with a strong sense of job security plans to work for the company in the foreseeable future, so they may maintain a good relationships with other colleagues and complete their job duties in well manner to stay employed.
Oppositely, lower level of Job security tends to result in lower level of working performance. Anwar (2011) claims that temporary employees cannot perform in better way due to the uncertainty in jobs. Job insecurity probably creates stressful feeling that the employee cannot perform well.
