RESULT AND DISCUSSION
1. Growth Responds of String Beans and Bell pepper
1.1 Height Increment of String Beans at Every Two Weeks Interval.
Figure 1 shows the height of string beans from 2nd week to 10th week. Data gathered for the height were taken every 2 weeks. Result show that plant inoculated with rhizobial culture from makahiya (MR) were the tallest 67.93 cm after 10th week, followed by plants inoculated with rhizobial culture from lalaking aratilis (PR) 63.96, then PD 59.52. Based on the table, there are some weeks where plants treated with PD are taller like in the 2nd week. However, ANOVA with repeated measures using CROP STAT v.7.2 show that treatments are not significantly different, this means the height were comparable …show more content…
However, ANOVA declares that the various treatments T1 (MR) and T2 (PR) including T0 (PD) control were not significantly different (see Appendix B, page 60). This means that the two rhizobial source from makahiya. and lalaking aratilis were not able to induced the actual height difference in bell pepper. Although, the bell pepper inoculated with rhizobial culture from makahiya gave the highest mean height among the two treatments. Induction of plant height growth was not significantly different.
Nitrogen fixer bacteria have the ability to fix the atmospheric nitrogen. About 78% of air is a nitrogen which Rhizobia fix the nitrogen in plant. Plant growth promoting by Rhizobia PGPR also a bioenhancer and biofertilizer (Kloepper et al., 1980). However, the T1 (MR) and T2 (PR) were slightly able to induce the height increase but not significant.
Growth rate of bell pepper at 2nd to 4th week were highest in treatment MR while at 4th to 6th week, the treatment PR had the highest growth rate. The computed growth rate at 6th to 8th and 8th to 10th week, PD were the highest compared in two treatments.

unguiculata.
Treatment Mean number of leaves
T0 control (P.D) 18.56
T1 Mimosa rhizobia (MR) 24.00
T2 Parasponia rhizobia (PR) 23.78
c.v. = 25.85
Statistical analysis revealed that the P-value corresponding to the F-statistical of One-Way ANOVA (see Appendix B, page 61) is higher than 0.05, suggesting that the various treatments were not significantly different as to the number of cumulative leaves of string beans. This means that the three treatments were comparable to each other had the same effect on the number of leaves of plant crop.
Rhizobia bacteria can exert beneficial effect on plant growth and their development of leaves. According to Zahir et al., (2003), Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobia bacteria can affect the growth and induce the number of leaves by releasing of secondary metabolites (plant growth regulators, phytohormones or simply bioactive substance), the secondary metabolites can induce the number of leaves and growth of plant and preventing deleterious effects of phytopathogenic organism in rhizosphere or in the root system of plant. However, are experiment were slightly induced the number of leaves but not
