Boosting the power of cow manure to create more methane gas

Literature Review When you hear the word cow manure, you automatically think of an awful smelling brown substance, which is true. The smell of manure from cows and other ruminants can be strong and extremely unpleasant, however cow waste is a great source of energy that can be used to power the farm. The purpose of this science fair project is to discover what kinds of biomass are best for producing biogas. Repeat this step until all three bottles with this label have 20 g of cow manure inside.
13. Using the balance scale and a fresh small paper cup, measure out 20 g of mashed banana peelings, and carefully place the 20 g of peelings inside one of the bottles labeled Cow Manure + Mashed Vegetable Peelings. Throw the paper cup away.
14. Repeat this step until all three bottles with this label have 20 g of Mashed Banana Peelings inside.
15. Using the balance scale and a different small paper cup, measure out 20 g of cow manure and carefully pour the 20 g of cow manure down the funnel and into one of the soda bottles labeled Cow Manure + Vegetable Peelings + Mashed Banana Peelings. Throw the paper cup away.
16. Repeat this step until all three bottles with this label have 20 g of cow manure inside.
17. Using the balance scale and a fresh small paper cup, measure out 10 g of vegetable peelings and 10g of Mashed Banana Peelings, and carefully place the 20 g of peelings inside one of the bottles labeled Cow Manure + Vegetable Peelings + Mashed Banana Peelings. Throw the paper cup away.
18. Repeat this step until all three bottles with this label have 20 g of Mashed Vegetables + Mashed Banana Peelings
