The study related decision making, central coherence and set-shifting between BED and AN patients. The studies were administered with female patients with AN and BN. They studied cognitive flexibility which is a mental ability to adjust thinking or attention with changing goals. A study with overweight female patients with binge-eating disorders did not execute as good as patients without BED on neuropsychological tests. BED female patients have a greater chance of everyday disorders like anxiety and personality disorders. The studies done showed that BED patients would display more flaws in decision making task and more negative central coherence than Anorexia Patients. The method was a sample study that made up of 135 female patients, 45 per group from AN, BED, Healthy Controls (HC). The patients were properly diagnosed by professional doctors with proper criteria. The patients were not forced this was a voluntary experiment. The patient’s personal information was kept confidential and was done from June 2013 to June 2014. The measures used in the experiment were different test approved by Eating Disorder Inventory and the Binge Eating Scale.
