This patient will need transportation for the ongoing health care and medication access for the chronic disease. Without transportation a person will not be able to access appropriate healthcare that is needed. Distance to health care can impact on an individual quality of life. Georgia Medicaid provide non-emergency medical transportation services for families to access medical service needed. This will ensure that the patient can keep their appointments and help reduce the cost of transportation to and from appointments and medication pickups center.
