Travel is good for a lot of things. Whether it is to escape from our limited [AO1] normal life or just to visit family, whatever reasons we have, we all end up learning about the places we visit and ourselves in the process. Travelling is important because it helps us reappraise our priorities in life, build tolerance, and develop our communication and people skills. As stated in an article, “travelling to new destinations can be a challenge…however, it opens minds to learning while experiencing cultures that endure” (Landess). We get to experience new customs and new cultures, which make us all better people if we know how to appreciate the good things in others, absorb them and develop tolerance. We celebrated multicultural day every year in the month of April. Students got the opportunity to present their culture by selling their traditional food and performing their traditional dance.
