He entails an all for one mentality, where the only thing negativity is doing is holding us back as a nation. Obama talks about coming together and getting past all the racial tension in our country, in doing so creating “A More Perfect Union”. Negativity towards one another in terms of race or religion, is doing nothing but stalling progress. He outlines a nation where people of every walk of life come together in unity stating “This time we want to talk about the men and women of every color and creed who serve together, and fight together, and bleed together under the same proud flag” (Obama, A More Perfect Union).
