According to Webster “ Transgender people are people whose gender identity differs from the sex the person had or was identified as having at birth”.To give a more broader definition a person whose gender identity does not correspond to that person’s biological sex assigned at birth. Meaning that they basically alter their bodies into what they want it to be or feel comfortable with. The choice for one to choose what gender they identified with is that of a personal decision that has no impact on society as a whole. However, when the choice of a certain individual infringes on the rights of the people and brings discomfort to the general public, then it should be a violation against society. In 2009, a sexual wrongdoer by the identity of Richard Rendler was apprehended for wearing fake breasts and a wig while parading in the female’s restroom in Campbell, California, shopping center. He had also been apprehended before on charges of child molestation and indecent exposure. Many of incidents similar to this are more likely to occur once the laws of transgender bathrooms are passed. Causing any person thats feels as if they want to be the opposite sex for a day to enter any bathroom putting many at potential harm.
Secondly,letting transgender people use whatever bathroom they please can violate the rights of other. “In 2010 Berkley, police arrested Gregorio Hernandez. He had dressed himself up as woman on two different occasions to enter inside a UC Berkeley locker room.
