Did you know that some animals on earth are being more and more abused because of animal
cruelty? Around 900-2000 animals are abused every year. In 2007 1880 animals were being
abused.
64.5% (1212) Involved dogs.
18% (337) involved cats.
25% (470) involved other animals.
I think that this is horrible and they should stop animal abuse
Over 115 million animals are being tested for food, drugs, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and
more. Some examples of these animals are rats, rabbits, dogs, cats, monkeys, pigs, and more.
In China 50% of the fur we wear today are from dogs. They either get skinned alive or bled to
death.

He is currently a youth ambassador for the dolphin
project. He has accomplished a lot in the activist realm such as organizing a large protest in
SeaWorld to fight the animal abuse occurring there. He helped stop animal abuse by: protesting in
schools and clubs, nation-wide petitions, spreading awareness through videos on social media, and more.
He educates people on how beautiful nature is and how we need to protect it by fighting for the ethical
rights of animals.
HOW TO STOP ANIMAL ABUSE
There are many ways you can stop animal abuse! You can: take them home if they
are on the streets, spend time with them, take them to a animal shelter, take them to a no-kill
center, call organizations and report the problem, write a document and email it to them,
protest,feed them, give them to someone who is good and nice with animals, animal abuse fund
and much more.
CONCLUSION
We all know that animal abuse is important because animals are beings in our ecosystem, and
we need to work to protect them just as we work to protect humans. Zach Affolter felt it was
important because he wanted to protect “beautiful nature”
