Anne Frank wrote this book, wanting to tell the audience about her life. Anne has matured so much during the time they had to stay in the annex. Just from reading her diary, it has seemed that she definitely had the potential of becoming a challenging writer. Another character would be Otto Frank. He was not only Anne’s father, but in Anne’s eyes, he was the kindest, smartest, most thoughtful and gentle father she ever even thought about. Third, Edith Frank, Anne’s mother. In Anne’s eyes, Edith is a very cold hearted, crucial person, and doesn’t know how to show love for her children. These three characters all relate to one another because they are all family. They were together while the war was carrying on.
