As this essay shows to introduce a quote you first must write a short sentence introducing the place where you got it from and the author. Then after that start with writing a verb describing what the author is doing when saying the quote, something like he said, or he states. Lastly I wrote the complete quote accompanied with quotation marks, at the end of the quote I put in parenthesis the last name of the author and the year the article was published. In the essay “American Dream and Angelina Jolie” I wrote, “The American Dream represents the hope and the hard work to accomplish a goal or a dream that you have. Angelina Jolie is my trailblazer because she is a humanitarian and because of how inspirational, successful and very powerful women she is” (Roldan). I will say that the easiest part for me on an essay is introducing my thesis and topic. On my English 12th essay called “Who is the real monster: Victor Frankenstein or his creature?” the teacher congratulated me for my organization and how a summarize my conclusion. When I turned in this essay I thought that it wasn’t going to be that good but at the end it resulted on me getting an A on it. As writers, we must take risks and one risk that I took was including more detail on my conclusion, I tried to summarize my whole essay taking out the most important stuff and putting it on the conclusion. As I started on the conclusion I first addressed why victor was consider a monster, then how his behavior and selfishness lead him to a doomed end in a lonely and dark life
