“The year of conquering negativity.” The article was written by Lesley Alderman in the New York Times. Throughout my entire reading of the article, it is clear that the content focuses on our thoughts as it relates to negative and positive thinking. The author begins the article by illustrating how humans have the tendency of gravitating towards bad thoughts more than positive ones. A keen reader will realize that the author points out some imperative issues that negative thoughts are not wholesome to us. For example, it can cause an increase in our stress levels.
It is evident from the reading that Alderman portrays prove that many if not all humans can relate to fighting with negativity in their thoughts.
