The child is generally in a happy mood. The three temperamental patters state that the “Easy Child” has usually positive moods. Noah proves that he does have positive moods. I also came to the conclusion of the child’s temperament based off my observations of the child and the mother’s response and comments to the questions. The mother’s answer to the general mood of the child when woken up, throughout the day, before nap or bed was that he is usually happy. The mother responded that the child has regular sleeping, eating, and eliminate habits which falls into the category of the Easy Child based off the Three Temperamental Patterns (according to the New York Longitudinal Study). The child’s mother responded that Noah does regularly try new foods. The mother responded that the child does smile at strangers to him when being held in his mother’s arm when I asked her. “He mostly smiles at children and pets and some adults” she answered. “The child does easily adapt to changes in routine very quickly”, she responded. “The child does not become easily frustrated normally he is a happy boy” she responded. I also analyzed As I observed the child he was happy and positive he showed this by smiling and laughing. This shows that the child mood is pleasant. Based off all the mother’s answers to my questions and after analyzing the table and data of the …show more content…
According to Jean Piaget, object performance begins develops gradually during the sensorimotor stage. It should be solified within the child during the sensorimotor stage the 6 stages. Piaget’s view states that the Object Performance specifically develops gradually between the third and sixth sub stage. The third sub stage categorizes the 4 to 8 months where infants become more interested in the environment. This means that they repeat actions that bring interesting results for example shaking a rattle and prolong interesting experiences. The actions are intentional but nor initially goal directed. The example of behavior used in Piaget’s Secondary circular reactions sub stage is that: Alejandro pushes pieces of dry cereal over the edge of his high chair tray one at a time and watches each piece as it falls to the floor. The fourth sub stage is called the Coordination of secondary schemes. Infants in the fourth sub stage which categorizes the 8-12 months make the A-not-B error. During that sub stage Piaget’s description sates the following: The infants behavior is more deliberate and purposeful(intentional) as infants coordinate previously learned schemes for example looking at and grasping a rattle. They use previously learned behaviors to attain their goals for example crawling across the room to get a desired toy. They can anticipate events. The behavior category
