27 September 2017 The Ambitious Change from High School to College
The transition from high school to college can be more than nerve racking. It is the day that many teenagers dream for while attending high school. High school is a great time for memories, new friends, and where all the fun is made. The expectations students have for college are usually far from what was imagined. Parties, school clubs, and homework due at midnight is great, although there are many downfalls that are a packaged deal while attending a university. Majority of people understand that school is school and there will always ups and downs, and yet that it true, the two topics share a big amount of differences in numerous of ways. College is much more difficult, requires more effort and dedication that many students aren't prepared for.

High school meant having a set schedule and following that until graduation. This makes it very different from college, although both schools have a specific schedule, the freedom the college offers are what makes it different than high school. The schedule you receive as a college student, can be easily switched and altered to fit with what works best for you. While in high school, your schedule is dictated by councilors, or other people. College allows you to take back ownership of time management. Because college offers this freedom to create your own schedule, this can be very beneficial in someone who has a day time job that prefers night classes. Many parents take full advantage of this feature, because they can depend their class time according to their kid's schedule making it less difficult to attend school while being a parent. For many people, including myself, enjoy having different classes for each day of the week, rather in high school it's the same everyday
