March 3, 1847 changed the world on March 7, 1876. He invented the telephone and started a new progressive era. Not only did Alexander invent the telephone and other objects but he had a passion for deaf people or helping inventing a better life for them. For instance, “Between 1873 and 1874, Bell spent long days and nights trying to perfect the harmonic telegraph” (Source #2).
