The Airplanes have always been an amazing sight to behold, even to think of the engineering in an aircraft is unbelievable. The science that goes into a modern aircraft is just amazing. Despite having supersonic fighter jets, or rumored futuristic Hypersonic jets that travel at speeds of Mach 11 (Black Project), they have very humble beginnings. Before the Wright brothers had their success in North Carolina (United States) people were already dreaming of flying through the air, some even flew. Leonardo Da Vinci was well known for the Ornithopter. An apparent flying machine designed to carry man through the air (Flying Machine). But people were flying through the air even before Da Vinci. as early as 200 BC a Chinese General named Han Hsin, who would use kites to fly himself over walls for reconnaissance …show more content…
The Airbus A380 is not only quiet but is spacious, it is able to comfortably seat 500 plus passengers; around 100 more than the Boeing 747. The Airbus A380 is 239 feet long, 79 feet high, and a wingspan of 262 giving it a maximum takeoff weight of 650 tons; lighter than a Boeing 747 (Airbus A380). It means it is wide enough to give passengers space to move around and light enough and economical enough to fly over 700 miles further than the 747(Grabianowski, Ed). So that means less takeoffs and landings (Emirates). The seats in the A380’s are wider, giving passengers more room to rest their tired bottoms, but nobody wants to sit all the time and there is ample space to go for a walk in the A380 due to its width. The lights in the cabins of the A380 are designed to be turned bright and dimmed gradually to “mimic the rising and setting of the sun”, so it is not uncomfortable for passengers as flight attendants turn the lights on (TheMuzzyofficial). Your seat is able to be made flat to give you sleep better. All these and more ensure the comfort of passengers as they travel in an Airbus
