Hitler was greatly involved in making Germany strong that “He aligned himself with several ambitious rulers such as Benito Mussolini of Italy and Francisco Franco of Spain” (Adolf Hitler). He thinks highly of himself when it comes to him being in charge and putting economic policies in action. One of his economic policies was to reduce employment by giving a lot of people jobs, however, if people did not take the job, he would put them in concentration camps. This helped some Germans because as more people got jobs, they were able to support their families and it would be a start in making Germany a better place to live in. Another one of his economic policies was to make Germany self sufficient, which is also known as autarky(). This meant that they stopped imports and started to make their own products from their resources. Hitler’s economic policies also included KDF which means strength through joy. Japan had a fascist government where the health of the country was more important than any person or group. A powerful leader and prime minister during the 1930’s in Japan was Tojo Hideki. As Japan’s prime minister, he authorized the attack on Pearl Harbor and “Japan suffered a stunning string of setbacks and losses, and the course of the war changed as did Japan's dreams of empire and fortune” (Tojo Hideki: General, Dictator, War Criminal). This demonstrates a fascist government because Hideki was so greatly involved in protecting his country, that he did not think about the people and what they were going to lose. Another important leader was prime minister Konoe Fumimaro who ruled from 1937 to 1941. Fumimaro tried to balance the military and the people but he got too involved and became militaristic. When the war with China had commenced, Fumimaro told the Japanese army to go ahead and attack without any approval().
