“This might be our last…” (mic disconnects) camera drops and everyone starts running. I could feel the adrenalin rushing through my body as if I took a dose of a hard drug and I felt the blood in my veins move rapidly through every inch of my body. Instantly our hearts were filled with chaos. Everyone does the complete opposite as instructed and they start running through the halls with terror and uncontrollable screaming. My eyes swelled with tears. My best friend, how could this be Santana being infected? Memories fogged my mind. Once Santana grabbed me by the hand and promised me she’d never leave my side. Not only was she my best friend, I loved her like a sister. Now, she was gone. Forever. Communication, along with touch, have always comforted me. Maybe it was because I was so young.
