For example, in the play, ‘A Christmas Carol: Scrooge and Marley’, Ebenezer Scrooge was a very sad man. When he went back into the past, he saw himself enjoying things and being very joyful. So he realized that he could be that happy again and tried his hardest to be, and it worked. Scrooge was now a happy man and loved the new him and his family.
Also, another example of cause and effect in Scrooge’s life, was that he was a miserable man. No one really liked him because of how miserable he was. But then he saw how much fun his nephew and his nephew’s family were having and how happy and grateful they were. Then, after he saw his nephew’s family, he became very cheerful. …show more content…
Scrooge was very stubborn and greedy. He didn’t want to believe that some people were homeless and living on the streets, and if he did believe that it was true, then he said that it was their problem and not his. But after he saw some of the many homeless people on the streets themselves, he became very empathetic because he now knew that it was a real problem and that he should be very empathetic towards them. Cause and effect examples are everywhere, and you can find them just about anywhere. A Christmas Carol: Scrooge and Marley is a great example of one of these places to show example. This play probably has many more cause and effect examples, but there are enough to know, or find out what cause and effect
